I am extremely happy to know that NRI Welfare Society of India, New Delhi is going to organise “36th International Congress of NRIs” from 24 to 28 January, 2017 in New Delhi-Jaipur. Official magazine ‘NRI LINK’ is also being brought out on the occasion.
NRIs, known for their intellect and business acumen, share a strong emotional bond with their motherland. No matter what part of the globe they work or live in, they are firmly rooted in their cultural ethos. Their contribution and willingness to see their motherland prosper shows their sense of commitment. It is, therefore, imperative that we bring NRIs on a platform where they come to know about the progress and achievements made in India so that they can become partner in our historic project of globalisation.
I take this opportunity to appreciate the efforts of NRIs for making substantial contributions in strengthening India’s economy. Their contribution in socio-economic development of our country is remarkable. I hope that this International Congress of NRIs would provide a platform to exchange ideas among stakeholders and will open new vistas of development.
I convey my very best wishes for the success of the Congress as well as for the publication of the magazine.
